Borrow a rowboat

Free Rowboat Loan – Dokken Museum

At the Herring Museum in Dokken, we offer a rowboat for loan completely free of charge. The boat can accommodate a maximum of four adults or two adults and 3–4 small children. To make a reservation, please contact us during our opening hours or get in touch with Haugesund Tourist Information.

We register the borrower’s name and phone number, planned rowing route, and expected return time. The boat is borrowed entirely at your own risk, and the use of life jackets is mandatory. A selection of life jackets is available to borrow at Dokken.

The boat is available for loan from 25 June to 13 September 2026.

The boat belongs to Friluftsrådet Vest and is part of the Coastal Trail network (Kystleden) in North Rogaland and Sunnhordland.
