Under tittelen «En dans for mye mellom tider» presenterer Herman Mbamba et utvalg nye malerier på lerret og tegninger på papir, i varierende format.
Med referanse til tittelen og den sammenhengen arbeidene inngår i uttaler Mbamba:
«Usually I engage into the act of dancing while shifting between painting and drawing. Obviously this continuous shifting elements are clearly articulated through these works. From the huge format paintings, where both elements of figuration blends with the abstract, towards the drawings on paper, where the contrasting importance of line and form narrates meaning. While I find that act of creating a symbiosis between act of dancing, while either painting or drawing to correlate with my visual language. Its also equally important to critically engage myself, either formally or conceptually.»
